8 Army Soldiers injured in blast in Handwara,Kashmir

8 Army soldiers including an officer were injured in a blast at Rajwar area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday. Reports says that an Army domination party of 21 RR led by an officer of Major rank Saurav Suman were passing through the woods of Nagranad area of Zatchaldara, Rajwar when the blast occurred. In the blast, eight soldiers including the Army major suffered serious injuries.
 
All the injured were taken to military hospital Drugmulla where from 2 seriously wounded including the Army major has been referred to Army’s 92 base hospital for specialized treatment. An Army official also confirmed that four soldiers received injuries and said that the details of the nature of blast are being ascertained.
