Hizbul Mujahidin terrorist apprehended near Ajas, Bandipora

In a joint operation of 13 RR, 162 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) and J&K Police, the security forces apprehended a terrorist by the name Sarfaraz Ahmed Sheer S/O Mohd Yousuf R/O Koil Muqam, Tangpathri Dist, Bandipora. This terrorist was apprehended with pistol, satellite phone & other war like stores. The operation was initiated after the security forces received tip off that the terrorist has been seen around Ajas, Bandipora.
“During Naka checking, one terrorist has been apprehended along with arms and ammunition,” said SSP Bandipora Zulfiqar. He said “His name is Sarfaraz and he is an Hizbul Mujahideen operative”.
