Successful combing operation of security forces reduced the terrorism in Kashmir

227 terrorists have been killed by the security forces till November this year whereas last year these were 207 said a report of Hindustan Times. According to it 37 terrorists were killed in the month of November, 2018 alone out of which 9 were the top terrorists. These terrorists were from dreadful terrorist groups like Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Naveed Jatt, one of the top terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba, was also killed in this month on last Wednesday in an encounter between the terrorists and the security forces in Badgam district. This has been seen as a success of the security forces and it has act as deterrence among youth to join terrorism.
 
 
According to J&K’s director general of police, Dilbag Singh there are around 250 terrorists in the state and the combing operation of the security forces are successful in reducing terrorism, especially in South Kashmir. An officer deployed in South Kashmir said “The intelligence network, flow of information from both human and other sources and shifting of the militants from forests to populated areas in the month of November are the reasons for killing of militants,’’.
