Martyr of Pulwama Encounter Lance Naik Kishan Singh

The 31 years old Lance Naik Kishan Singh made supreme sacrifice in the counter terrorism operation in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. The 31 year old armyman, who killed 3 terrorists before taking the last breath, was from Churu District of Rajasthan.
 
 
The martyr has survived by his wife and two sons Dharamveer (5) and Mohit (2). The deafening silence prevailed in the village of the braveheart as soon as the news reached the village. One of the villagers told that Singh came to his village for Diwali and left his home for joining the duty some 10-12 days back. A neigbour of Singh told that he spoke to his wife on Saturday morning before the encounter took place. Presently, his wife and children are stay in Ratangadh.
 
 
 
 
 
Singh joined Indian Army in 2009 and his father expired in 2011. He got married in 2012 and he has one brother and two sisters. The entire battalion of Singh came to Bikaner but he was asked to stay back in Pulwama for 2-3 more days. Singh completed his BA while in service. Singh was brave and used to take lead in all the army operations.
 
 
Zahoor Ahmad Thoker, absconder from Indian army, who made off with his service rifle and three magazines, was also killed in this encounter.
