Terrorists’ hideout traced near Hizb commander Riyaz Naikoo's village in Awantipora

Terrorist hideout was unearthed by the security forces during a search operation in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district today. The police source said that a hideout located in Badriwan forest area of Awantipora was busted by the forces today morning. The area is close to Beighpora, which is the native village of top Hizbul commander Riyaz Naikoo. The joint search operation was launched by the army, police and the CRPF after getting tip off that the terrorists are hiding in this area. Last week, 6 terrorists were shot dead by the forces in their hideout in Arampora area of Tral.
 
 
 
 
 
The security forces are regularly busting the hide-outs of the terrorists and there is an increase in counter-terrorism operations in Kashmir valley, as a result a number of dreadful terrorists are eliminated by the security forces this year. A total number of 39 terrorists were killed by the security forces in last month and the top commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Naveed Jatt was also killed last month. A whopping number of 223 terrorists have been killed by the security forces this year, which is the highest in the last three years. The security forces are closing in on eliminating the top commanders of the terrorists in the Kashmir valley.
