With the bell for J&K assembly election is going to ring soon, the politicians finding new ways to demean the nation security and throwing barbs on the security forces. Two days back Congress offered one crore rupees and jobs to stone-pelters and terrorists if it comes to power, this time the PDP president and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti demeaned the efforts of security forces, who have busted the an ISIS-inspired module, called Harkat-ul-Harb-e-Islam. In her recent remark the PDP president said declaring suspects as terrorists “on the basis of sutli bombs” and associating them with the ISIS was premature. She went on to say “National security is supreme. But declaring suspects as terrorists on the basis of Sutli bombs, associating with the dreaded IS is premature. It has already devastated their lives and families. NIA must learn from earlier episodes in which the accused were acquitted after decades”.

Why the NIA came to conclusion that it is a terrorist network

Her remarks came in case where NIA has arrested 10 persons with 25 kg of explosive material -- Potassium Nitrate, Ammonium Nitrate, Sulphur etc. Additionally 12 country-made pistols, 150 rounds of live ammunition, a country-made rocket launcher, 112 alarm clocks, mobile phone circuits, batteries and 51 pipes to be used as pipe bombs were also recovered. The NIA had also recovered steel containers, electric wires, 91 mobile phones, 134 SIM cards, three laptops, knife, sword, ISIS-related literature and a cash amount of about Rs. 7.5 lakh during the searches.
But, the former CM of J&K thinks that this huge arms and ammunition is used to make ‘Sulti Bomb’.
