First time 4 veterans of Subhas Chandra Bose's INA would take part in Republic Day Parade

First time in the history of India, the war veterans of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's Indian National Army (INA) would march on the Republic Day parade this year. The four soldiers of INA, aged between 97 and 100 and residents of Delhi NCR would take part in Republic Day parade. Though efforts were made to find out other INA soldiers but only four could be traced. The eldest among the four is the 100 years old, named Bhagmal resident of Manesar, Haryana, who joined INA in 1942 fought for the independence of India. The other three members include Lalti Ram, 98, from Panchkula, Hira Singh, 97, from Narnaul in Haryana and Parmanand Yadav from Chandigarh.
About INA
INA was founded in 1942 by Ras Bihari Bose. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose led it and fought fierce battles with the British till Independence. But the INA soldiers were not allowed to merge with India Army.
