Lashkar Commander Sajjad and other terrorists besieged by security forces in Sopore, encounter going on

An encounter is going on between terrorists and security forces in Warpora area of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district. According to the sources, Lashkar commander Sajjad, who looks after Lashkar’s terrorist activities in northern Kashmir areas, is also surrounded in this encounter.
The security forces got the tip-off about the terrorists’ hide-out in Sopore area. The joint team of Army, CRPF, and SOG cordoned off the area and started the search operation. The house where terrorists were believed to be hiding was besieged by the security forces. When the security forces made a warning shot, the terrorists started firing on them and the encounter began. The firing is going on intermittently.
