Unable to get youth for terrorism from Kashmir Jaish trying to create modules in other states
   23-Feb-2019

The strictness of the security forces and dwindling interest in terrorism among Kashmiri youth forced Jaish-e-Mohammad to search the youth for terrorism from other states in India. It is believed that the terrorists apprehended from Deoband in U.P. were part of this module. Many youths are sent to study outside Kashmir valley so that they could brainwash the youth to join terrorism.

According to the sources, the interest in stone-pelting and terrorism is gradually reducing among the youth of Kashmir. The major reason for it is the fear of security forces. Also, the youth believe that they would not get anything from the bloodshed. Parents of the youth are also playing an important role in it. Hence, many youths from Kashmir are applying to join security forces. Even the females from South Kashmir, which is believed to be the hotbed of terrorism, have also applied in security forces. On Thursday around 3000 Kashmiri youth from Baramullah appeared for recruitment in 161 TA (JAK LI).
