Indian Air force used 12 Mirage-2000 fighter planes to strike on the terror camps of Jaish-e-Mohammad and eliminated more than 200 terrorists. 1000 kg bombs were airdropped on the exact location of terrorist camps.
 
 
 
 
About Mirage 2000 fighter plane
 
Mirage-2000 fighter planes were made by France based Dassault Company. This is the same company, which had made Rafale fighter planes for India. Mirage is the fourth generation multirole single-engine fighter plane. This fighter plane took its first flight in 1970 and it is presently used by 9 countries. This plane was upgraded from time to time. By 2009, more than 600 Mirage-2000 are serving across the globe.
 
 
 
 
India bought Mirage-2000 fighters planes to stop F-16 of Pakistan that was given by America to Pakistan. In October 1982 India order for 36 single seater Mirage-2000 Hs and 4 twin seater Mirage-2000 THs to Dassault. Mirage-2000 is equipped with improved avionics, RDY radar, and new sensor and control system that are helpful in targeting multiple locations simultaneously, air to land and air to air strikes. It is useful in dropping conventional and laser graded bombs.
 
 
 
 
9 high points are given in Mirage-2000 to carry the weaponry, out of which 5 are given under the plane and two in both the wings. Single seater Mirage is equipped with two internal heavy firing 30 MM guns. MICA multigate air to air intercept and combat missiles are among the weapons for air to air strike used by Mirage-2000. There are lot many other weapons that this fighter plane is equipped with.
