Jaish gives death threat to former ISRO Chief for supporting PM Modi

Former Indian Space Research Organisation chairman G. Madhavan Nair threatened by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). In its letter, the proscribed terror organization JeM warned the 75 years old Nair that he should not support Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The former ISRO chief confirmed the receipt of the letter in the mailbox at his residence. The letter is given to the Kerala police for further investigation of the matter. Nair had praised Modi on Wednesday for successfully launching of A-SAT missile.
Nair is retired from ISRO as its chairman in 2009. He was conferred Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan for his contribution. He had played a pivotal role in the design and development of the cryogenic engine for the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV).
