Pakistan’s intelligence agencies and army are hand in glove with Jaish to carry out terrorist attacks in India: Parvez Musharraf
   06-Mar-2019

While welcoming the ban on terrorist organisations in Pakistan, Pakistan’s former military head and President General Parvez Musharraf disclosed that Pakistan’s intelligence agencies, ISI, were in hands in gloves with Jaish-e-Mohammad to carry out bomb blasts in India. In the aftermath of Balakot airstrike, which was dubbed as ‘Surgical Strike 2.0’ in India, Pakistan is under immense pressure to act on the terrorists flourishing on its soil. Therefore, Pakistan placed Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed-led Jamaat-ud-Dawa and its wing Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation in the list of banned organisations and it has also taken 44 terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad into preventive detention for ‘investigation.

Musharraf admits collusion of Pakistan intelligence and Army with terrorists

In his stunning disclosure on the collusion of Pakistan intelligence and army with terrorist organisations, Musharraf said that it was a right move by the Pakistan Government because he himself could not ban these terrorist organizations. He even cited the incident of Jhanda Chichi Bridge of 2003, when Jaish-e-Mohammad made an attempt to assassinate him but he escaped.

This stunning revelation was made by him on ‘Hum TV digital’ to a Pakistani journalist called Nadeem Malik. When Malik asked why he did not ban Jaish when he was all powerful, Musharraf said, “that era was different and he doesn’t have an answer to why he couldn’t ban the terrorist outfit”. He added that Pakistani establishment and terrorists were in collusion to carry out terrorist attacks across India; hence banning Jaish would not have been the right option.
