Jammu and Kashmir police apprehended four terrorists on Monday in connection with their involvement in grenade attacks, planting explosives in the Pulwama district of J&K. Police superintendent Tahir Saleem Khan identified three of the accused as Murtaza, Aqib, and Irfan-ul-Haq. The identity of the fourth terrorist has not been disclosed yet. Khan said the four were involved in the terror activities of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Pulwama’s Tral and Awantipora areas.

The security forces have been clamping on the terrorist, their supports and modules since the ghastly attack on the CRPF convoy on February 14, in which more than 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred.

On Sunday, police said it arrested three JeM operatives two days after they were involved in an attack on a police post in Srinagar on Friday. A constable was injured in the attack.
