A terrorist was killed in the wee hours of Wednesday morning in an ongoing gunfight between the security forces and the terrorists. The joint forces of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) carried out a cordon and search operation on late evening Tuesday in Kulgam district’s Tazipora village, after getting a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the area. As soon as the security forces reached near to the house, where the terrorists were hiding, they fired that triggered a gunfight. Mobile and internet services are suspended in the area as a security measure.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, two suspected Pakistani spies are arrested from Jammu. They were taking pictures and shooting videos outside an Army camp. Both of them are handed over to the police. The official said their phones were scanned and then it came to know that they are in regular touch with some people in Pakistan.
