On Wednesday, one stone-pelter killed in clashes with the security forces in Shopian district of Kashmir. As per the reports, the youth took to the street and started pelting stones on the security forces, who had launched a cordon and search operation in Pinjura area. The youth pelted stone to disrupt the anti-terrorism operation.

 

The security forces used tear gas to disperse the berserk mob of stone-pelters that lead to the death of a stone-pelter and injuries to at least twenty other. The deceased stone-pelter is identified as Sajad Ahmad Parray of Badrahama, Shopian. Earlier, an official said that the search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in Pinjura
