The joint team of 22 RR, CRPF and Police successfully eliminated two terrorists in Dangerpura village, Sopore today. The security forces got information about the presence of two terrorists in the area. They immediately cordoned off the area and started search operation to nab the terrorists but they opened fire and in the ensuing encounter, the two terrorists were killed. The educational institution and internet services were closed down as a matter of precautionary measure during this encounter.

 

 

Security forces had already eliminated JKIS commander Zakir in another encounter.
