Pakistani rupee is continuously getting devalued. The noted Pakistani economist Kaiser Bengali said, “This knee-jerk reaction of the market will continue. Given our large deficit and high debt ratio, the rupee will continue to decline. The rupee will be 200 a dollar by year-end.” As per the report of ‘The Print’, Pakistan is experiencing a familiar boom-and-bust cycle: debt is soaring, inflation is rocketing, and reserves are falling after a deficit blowout. The Central Bank of Pakistan has to devalue the Pakistan rupee five times since last year. The Pakistan currency breached the 150 per dollar mark after the bailout package of International Monetary Fund (IMF), which recommended the country to loosen its grip over rupee and a market-driven exchange rate should be accepted. The Pakistan rupee has touched a new low with PKP 152.525 last week and it is among the worst performers globally.

It is worth noting here that Pakistan is going through quite tough days as even the prices of essential commodities are skyrocketing and the rate of inflation in the country is all time high.
