Security forces gave opportunity to Jaish terrorist to surrender

The Security forces arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist from Tral, Kashmir. Acting on the tip-off, a joint team of 42 RR, 180 CRPF, and Police sieged the Nagpathri area of Tral. During the search operation, the security forces found that Mohammad Maqbool Ganai, resident of Gungtu, Tral, has recently become an active terrorist of the proscribed terror organization Jaish-e-Mohammad and hiding in a house.
 
 
The terrorist was married and had two small kids; therefore, the security forces gave him an opportunity to surrender. They tried to convince him to give up the path of terrorism for 4 hours. Later, he surrendered and the security forces have recovered one Chinese pistol, one pistol magazine, and 6 live bullets from him. Now, the police are interrogating him to retrieve further information. According to his family, he was missing since May 25 and an FIR has also been registered with the police in this regard.
