A Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist from Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, laid down his arms and returned to the mainstream on Sunday. However, the Police did not disclose his identity. The police spokesman said the identity of the youth stands protected.

 

 

Dozens of terrorists have laid down their arms in Kashmir since 2017 when police announced that they will accept the offer to surrender of local terrorists even during ongoing encounters. Most of these terrorists have returned home after appeals by their families to shun the path of violence.
