Rahul Gandhi’s promise a mere Jumla: Congress leader Kamal Nath says loan waiver of farmer is not possible in 10 days

In the latest turn of events, Congress leader and Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath says complete loan waiver for farmers is not possible in 10 days because nobody has a magic wand. It is important to note here that Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders promised that farmers’ loan would be waived off within 10 days if the party comes to power in Madhya Pradesh. In fact, Rahul Gandhi has touted this as one of his achievements through the campaigning for 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
 
 
 
In response to BJP’s allegation that Congress has not fulfilled its promise, Kamal Nath said after promising the loan waiver, 21 lakh farmers’ loans had been waived off, however, a complete loan waiver is not possible within 10 days because the government does not have a magic wand. He said there would be some farmers, who will say that their loans have been waived off but there would be others, who would say that their loan has not been waived off.
 
 
 
 
Farmers’ loan waiver within 10 days was one of the major promises of Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Rahul Gandhi had reiterated many times that as soon as the Congress party comes to power it would waive off the farmers’ loan.
