One Terrorist Killed in Dachigam Forest Encounter in Srinagar, op underway

A terrorist was killed during an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Dachigam forest area of Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir. The operation, launched jointly by the Indian Army and J&K Police, began on December 2 based on specific intelligence inputs.

 

 

According to officials, a cordon-and-search operation (CASO) was initiated in the Harwan area, leading to contact with the suspected terrorists during the search.

 

 

In an update shared on X (formerly Twitter), Kashmir Zone Police stated, “Contact established. Operation is in progress. Details shall follow.”
