In a decisive move, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has terminated six employees, including five policemen and a teacher, for their involvement in terror financing through drug sales.
This action comes in light of their connections to a narco-terror network reportedly operated by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and terror outfits. The terminated employees were found to be integral parts of a sophisticated narco-terror network, facilitating the sale of narcotics to finance terrorist activities.
Their termination was enforced under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which permits the dismissal of employees in the interest of state security without conducting an inquiry.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who heads the J&K administration, emphasized the government’s unwavering stance against terrorism and its funding mechanisms. "We are committed to eradicating terrorism and its support networks from our region," stated LG Sinha.
