Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has dismissed two government employees in Jammu and Kashmir for their alleged involvement in activities linked to terrorist organisations.

According to officials, the action was taken under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, which empowers the government to terminate public servants without a formal inquiry in cases where it is deemed necessary for the security of the state.

The employees who have been shown the door include Ghulam Hussain, a teacher posted in the Education Department in Reasi district, and Majid Iqbal Dar, a teacher and former Lab Assistant from Rajouri.

The administration said the move reflects its firm and continued commitment to a zero tolerance policy against terrorism and its supporters within government ranks.
