13 Pakistan Coast Guard Personnel Killed in Gwadar Attack, Claims BLA

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed that 13 Pakistani Coast Guard personnel were killed in an attack on two boats in the Jiwani area of Gwadar district in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

 

In a statement issued on October 11, 2026, the BLA said its maritime unit, the ‘Hammal Maritime Defence Force’, carried out the attack.

 

The BLA had announced the formation of the separate unit to handle maritime operations on April 13, 2026, according to its spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch.

 

There has been no official response from the Pakistan government or military to the claim so far. The reported casualties have also not been independently verified.
