J&K: 3 Labourers killed as under-construction bridge collapses in Jammu

J&K: Three labourers were killed and one injured after an under-construction portion of a bridge collapsed in the Bantalab area of Jammu on Friday.
Rescue teams carried out a 12-hour operation and recovered three bodies along with one injured worker from the debris of the partially collapsed structure in Thathar on the outskirts of Jammu, officials said on Saturday.
The injured labourer was rescued shortly after the collapse on Friday.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary visited the site around midnight and ordered the suspension of two engineers. The government has also set up a committee to investigate the incident.
