Army Cheetah Helicopter Crashes in Ladakh
 
 
An Indian Army Cheetah light helicopter crashed near Tangste, Leh (Ladakh) on May 20, leaving two pilots and Division Commander Major General Sachin Mehta injured, Army officials said.
 
 
The crash happened on Wednesday, but information about the incident came out only on Saturday. Officials said the single-engine helicopter was being flown by a Lieutenant Colonel and a Major. The General Officer Commanding of the 3 Infantry Division was also travelling in the helicopter as a passenger.
 
 
Officials said all three injured personnel are safe and in stable condition after the accident.
 
 
Following the crash, the Indian Army has ordered a Court of Inquiry to find out the exact cause of the accident
