Back-to-Back blasts in Punjab; Security Agencies on High Alert, No Casualties

Two explosions were reported late Tuesday night in Punjab, creating concern among security agencies. The first blast took place around 8 pm near the headquarters of the Border Security Force (BSF) Punjab Frontier in Jalandhar. About three hours later, another explosion occurred near the army cantonment area in Khasa, Amritsar.

 

 

According to police officials, no injuries or casualties have been reported in either incident. Security forces quickly reached both spots and started checking the areas.

 

 

Police said investigations are currently underway to find out the cause of the blasts and whether the two incidents are connected.

 

 

The National Investigation Agency teams are currently en route to the blast sites in Jalandhar and Amritsar, where they are expected to arrive shortly to gather information and assist the Punjab Police in the investigation.
