J&K: Four Army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were injured in an accidental mine blast during a patrol near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Tuesday.
According to officials, the blast took place in a forward area along the LoC while troops were carrying out routine patrolling duties. One JCO and three jawans sustained injuries in the incident.
The injured personnel have been identified as Subedar (JCO) Nain Singh, Havildar Subhash Singh, Agniveer Aman Singh and Agniveer Gaurav Singh.
All the injured soldiers were immediately evacuated and shifted to a medical facility for treatment. Their condition is being monitored by doctors.
Officials said the explosion was caused by an accidental mine blast. Further details are awaited.
