India hands over family tents to Afghanistan for returnees rehabilitation

As part of India’s continued humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan, India has handed over family tents to the Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) to support the shelter and rehabilitation needs of Afghan returnees, MEA official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal shared on X.

 

  

Afghanistan has been witnessing a large number of people returning home, especially from Pakistan, after Islamabad increased efforts to send back refugees and undocumented migrants.

 

 

The assistance is aimed at helping Afghan families returning to the country by providing temporary shelter and supporting their rehabilitation. The move is part of India’s ongoing humanitarian support to the people of Afghanistan.
