Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the sacred Harbah Festival at Anantnag on Sunday, where he paid obeisance to Mata Sidh Lakshmi and joined devotees during the annual Hawan. He also extended his greetings to all those taking part in the religious celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor said the Harbah Festival is a celebration of devotion, gratitude and spiritual awakening. He added that Teerathraj Lok Bhawan reflects India’s rich and timeless spiritual heritage.
Addressing the youth of Jammu Kashmir, the Lieutenant Governor encouraged them to pursue modern education while remaining connected to their cultural and spiritual roots. He said preserving traditions and values is important alongside progress and development.
