J&K: Search operations launched in Udhampur, Reasi, Kathua after suspected movement

Security forces launched search operations at several locations in Udhampur, Reasi and Kathua districts of Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday following reports of suspected persons moving in the area, officials said, PTI reported.

 

Police, along with the CRPF, launched a cordon and search operation after receiving information about the movement of two suspected individuals.

 

According to officials, the two persons allegedly knocked on the door of a local resident, Prakash Chand, in Talot village of Udhampur late Monday night and asked for food.

 

Following the information, security forces intensified searches in the surrounding areas to trace the suspected individuals. Further details are awaited.
