4.8 Lakh Pilgrims, 57 Days: LG Sinha Felicitates Team J&K After Successful Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday felicitated officers and personnel associated with the successful conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026.

 

Sinha felicitated officers from the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB), administration, J&K Police, Army, CAPFs, Border Roads Organisation (BRO), medical teams and service providers for their role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage.

  

The Lieutenant Governor said nearly 4.8 lakh pilgrims had darshan of Baba Barfani during the 57-day yatra and thanked all those involved in its arrangements.

 

Sinha said the success of the yatra belonged to “Team Jammu and Kashmir”, whose dedication and spirit of service helped make the pilgrimage successful.

 

 

“After successful conclusion of the sacred Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, felicitated officers of SASB, Administration, J&K Police, Army, CAPFs, BRO, medical professionals and service providers, who made it possible. Nearly 4.8 lakh pilgrims had darshan of Baba Barfani over 57 days. This success belongs to Team Jammu and Kashmir, who turned duty into devotion. Their spirit of seva reflects the true soul of Jammu Kashmir. My heartfelt gratitude to all.”
