J&K: Residential Property Attached in Baramulla for Providing Support to Terrorists Under UAPA

J&K: Police have attached a double-storeyed residential house under Section 25 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, in connection with a terror-related case in Baramulla.

 

According to the Police, the property belongs to accused Aijaz Ahmad Ganie and was found, prima facie, to have been used for providing shelter and logistical support to terrorists.

 

Police said the property was also allegedly used to facilitate terrorist activities, attracting the relevant provisions of the UAPA concerning proceeds of terrorism.

 

The action is part of ongoing Police efforts against properties linked to terror activities in J&K.
