J&K: Two police personnel found dead in Ramban under suspicious circumstances

Ramban : Two police personnel were found dead under suspicious circumstances in the Nashri-Batote area of Ramban district late Tuesday evening.

 

The deceased have been identified as Head Constable Farid Ahmed and Selection Grade Constable Muhammad Yaqoob, both posted at District Police Lines, Ramban. They were found unconscious inside a private car parked near Ziarat Morh in Sana area of Batote. The car was reportedly owned by one of the deceased police personnel.

 

Residents shifted the two cops to District Hospital Ramban, where doctors declared them brought dead. Police personnel also reached the hospital, along with senior officers.

 

The exact circumstances and cause of their deaths were not immediately known. Police have initiated further proceedings and are investigating the incident.
