Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar shut down a Pakistani journalist at the United Nations on Friday after the journalist accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan.
The incident took place at the UN headquarters in New York after Jaishankar and Liberia’s Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti addressed the media on the Group of Friends on Safety and Security of Shipping and Seafarers. As the briefing ended, the Pakistani journalist stood up and asked Jaishankar, “When will your government stop sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan?”
