Devotees celebrate Janmashtami in Srinagar with bhajans, procession

Srinagar, J&K: Devotees celebrated Janmashtami at Ghantaghar in Lal Chowk on Friday with devotional chanting, singing of bhajans and traditional fervour.

 

 

 

To mark the birth of Lord Krishna, devotees took out a colourful procession through the city centre. The procession featured a decorated chariot carrying an idol of Lord Krishna, drawing participation from devotees.

 

Devotees sang bhajans and danced alongside the chariot as the procession moved through the streets, creating a festive atmosphere in the heart of Srinagar.
