Amid continuous firing and shelling from Pakistan at LOC, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh visited the forward posts in Akhnoor Sector on Friday to review the operational preparedness and the prevalent security situation. he even encouraged the troops to remain prepared to face any security challenge. He was accompanied by Nagrota based 16 Corps Commander; Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh.
Lt Gen Singh said, “There is need to remain prepared for effectively meeting current emerging security challenge. He also said, we “need to remain vigilant to counter the nefarious designs of the enemy and anti-national elements.”
