An incident of rape of 3 years old child has been reported from Kashmir. Ironically, this incident has not been covered by the mainstream media. Ever endeavour is being made to save the accused and to prove him a minor. For this purpose, Trigam Madarsa, J&K has issued a fake certificate, wherein the age of the accused is mentioned as 10 years though J&K Police claims that the accused is around 20 years old. The Trigam Madarsa is run by Islamic Education Trust of J&K. The Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, Shahid Chaudhary himself tweeted about this fake certificate and raised doubt on the principal of Madarsa.
On last Wednesday, just before Iftari when Azan was called in Trigam village, Bandipora District, North Kashmir, a 20 years old man took a girl child of 3 years old to the bathroom on the pretext of giving toffee and raped her. The child was under intense pain and narrated the whole story to her parents. Thereafter the villagers caught Tahir Ahmad alias Mubba and handed him over to the police and admitted the child in the hospital. Now, the hospital has discharged the child.
Though Police and Civil administration has already assured people to bring culprit to the justice and get strictest punishment for this ghastly crime, but people of Bandipora protested after the incident came to light and they are demanding that strongest action must be taken against the accused.
This is the second incident of rape reported from Bandipora. Before this incident, another matter was reported from Gujjar Pathri, Argam area, wherein a father raped her 3 year old girl child. Later, another girl child was reported in the month of Ramzan in Bandipora. Meanwhile whole valley is in shock and asking for justice.
