Recently food packets were provided to the students from Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir who were going to their hometowns by train. On 13th-14th May, the Roti bank ensured that students leaving Nagpur Railway Station are taken care of with all the essential help and thus were provided food packets. Keeping in view of the beliefs of the Muslim community during Roza and the Ramzan month, food essentials were provided to them considerably.

JKSC guided many and helped stranded to get the procedure done so that they get permission to travel to their destination, said Abhinandan Palsapure, Secretary JKSC. Nagpur Roti bank headed by Dr. Purushottam Choudhary, readily embarked on the job of providing food to affected people, also provided food to the students and family heading to their homes. "Food is being cooked at Ahilya Mandir, Dhantoli, Nagpur, and distributed to travellers through Nagpur Roti Bank," said Poonam Gupta, a native of Jammu. The noteworthy thing is that the tedious job of packing the food was done by hostel girls of Aahilya mandir. This entire exercise and the flow of smooth chain of practice being conducted since the last one and a half months was coordinated by participants from RSS LOK KALYAN SAMITI, NAGPUR, and Youth for Seva Team of Nagpur. Not only they participated but were actively involved in the day to day operations. The tireless efforts put in by them benefitted many stranded students and others.
