In a major move by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday, raids have been carried out at six locations in Jammu - Kashmir, and Punjab in connection with narcotics and weapons case. As per the NIA officials, the raids are underway in connection with the case of weapons and narcotics registered in 2020.

 

An agency official related to the probe told IANS, "the agency is carrying out searches at six locations in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir."

 

According to the officials, the raids started in several locations on Thursday early morning and were still underway. Although, all the exact details of the locations and the names of the people involved against whom the raids have been conducted are still not disclosed.
