India's vaccine drive: India vaccinates over 12 lac people across the country in the last 24 hrs

In what can be termed as a massive achievement, India has so far administered more than 18 crores, 58 lakh doses of COVID 19 vaccine in the country. India is setting new records every day concerning the ongoing vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus pandemic across the country.
 
On the 123rd day of vaccination, that is, 18 May, the vaccine has been administered to more than 1.2 million people across the country. During this period, while the first dose was successfully given to more than 10 lakh, 96 thousand, 815 people, the second dose has been applied to more than 1 lakh, 83 thousand, 081 people.
 
In the last 24 hrs, a total of 18 crores, 58 lakh, 09 thousand, 302 people across the country have been so far vaccinated against the deadly COVID 19.
 
So far, overall 14.35 crore citizens have been given the first dose across the country, while over 4.22 crore citizens have been given the second dose. Speaking of the last 24 hrs specifically, a total of 5 lakh, 14 thousand, 408 citizens from the age group of 18 to 44 years have been vaccinated.
 
Apart from this, if we talk about the total figures, then more than 64 lakh citizens of the same age group in the country have been vaccinated under the third phase of vaccination, which started from May 1.
 
In the last 24 hours only, while 13 thousand, 244 citizens have been given the first vaccine in the category of health care workers, the second vaccine has been given to more than 5 thousand citizens. Apart from this, the first vaccine was given to 3 lakh, 62 thousand, 583 people in the age group of 45 to 60 years, while the second vaccine was given to 1 lakh, 02 thousand, 436 citizens. In the category of senior citizens, 1 lakh, 44 thousand, 902 people were given the first vaccine, while 62 thousand, 227 people were given the second vaccine.
 
The vaccine to Health care workers
 
Speaking of health care workers, so far more than 96 lakh people have been given the first dose, while 66 lakh, 59 thousand, 125 people have been given the second dose. In the vaccination campaign against Corona, more than 1 crore, 45 lakhs, 69 thousand frontline workers have been given the first dose of this vaccine. At the same time, over 82 lakh, 36 thousand people have been given the second dose in the same category.
 
 
 
Citizens in the age group of 45 to 60 yrs who have been vaccinated
 
 
As far as the age group of 45 to 60 are concerned, a total of 5 crores, 80 lakh, 46 thousand, 339 people have been given the first vaccine against the deadly coronavirus, while 93 lakh, 51 thousand, 036 people of the same age group have been vaccinated. A second vaccine has also been administered.
 
Senior citizens fully participated
 
The first dose of this vaccine has been given to more than 5 crores, 48 lakh, 16 thousand citizens over the age of 60 years, while more than 1 crore, 79 lakh, 78 thousand seniors have been given the second dose of the vaccine.
 
State-wise data
 
Speaking of state-wise figures, the first vaccine of Corona has been given to more than 1 crore, 56 lakhs in Maharashtra, 1 crore in Rajasthan, 24 lakhs, 1 crore 19 lakhs in UP, and more than 10 million people in Gujarat. On the other hand, if we talk about the list of Union Territories, the first dose of this vaccine has been given to 37.06 lakhs in Delhi, 1.82 lakhs in Puducherry, 1.90 lakhs in Nagaland, 88,000 in Ladakh, and over 20 thousand people in Lakshadeep.
 
In South India, 1.13 crore in Karnataka, 85.35 lakhs in Kerala, 76.29 lakhs in Andhra Pradesh, 70.40 lakhs in Tamil Nadu, 67.44 lakhs in Odisha, and more than 54.50 lakhs have been vaccinated in Telangana.
 
Under the list of North-Eastern states, 3.90 lakh people have been vaccinated in Manipur, 4.13 lakhs in Meghalaya, 14.74 lakhs in Tripura, and more than 3.06 lakhs have been vaccinated in Arunachal Pradesh.
 
India gets immense support from Spain, South Korea, New Zealand, and Germany
 
India has received COVID 19 essentials from Spain, Ontario, South Korea, New Zealand, and Germany and it includes 191 oxygen concentrators, 1,399 ventilators / bypaps / seapaps, and 500 infrared thermometers from according to data dated May 17 and 18.
 
These ten states have gotten 66.70% vaccine
 
As of May 18, 66.70% of the total vaccine doses have been given to 10 states across the country, including Maharashtra (10.75%), Rajasthan (8.28%), Uttar Pradesh (8.13%), Gujarat (8.06%), West Bengal (6.85%). , Karnataka (6.12), Madhya Pradesh (4.97), Kerala (4.60%), Bihar (4.85%), and Andhra Pradesh (4.10%).
