Terrorists attack locals along with security personnel in J&K; Two policemen and two civilians lost lives in Sopore, three injured

In a terrorist attack in Sopore of North Kashmir, two policemen and two civilians have lost their lives today while two police personnel are reportedly critically injured. Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off the area, and the search operation is on. IG Vijay Kumar, Kashmir said that terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba is behind the attack.
In a deadly terror attack in Sopore of Baramullah district in north Kashmir on Saturday, terrorists attacked a joint team of police and CRPF at Police Naka in Arampora. While two policemen and two civilians lost their lives in the terror attack, two other police personnel are critically injured.
Police said that the terrorists hurled a grenade at a joint party of police and CRPF in the main market of Sopore town.
According to reports, five critically injured cops and civilians were rushed to the hospital after the attack where four believed to have succumbed. Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar said to ANI that terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba is behind this attack.
Meanwhile, the search operation is underway and forces have cordoned off the area. More details awaited.
