Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday seized a consignment, drone dropped by Pakistan along the line of Control in Samba district of J&K.

 

 

While talking to media, SSP Samba said drone came from Pakistan side and was dropped near the LoC in Swankha area of Samba.

 

 

He said as sealed packets were attached with the drone, as bomb disposal squad was called in.

 

 

“On being searched they recovered 02 Chinese pistols, 04 loaded magazines, 60 rounds of bullets, 02 steel IED, watch, battery and 05 lakh Indian currency rupees.

 

He added that further action in this regard has been initiated as it is a case of cross- border drone dropping and the consignment could have been used for untoward incident, but the attempt has been foiled.
