J&K Government on Saturday demolished the illegal house of Jaish-e-Muhammad terrorist Ashiq Nengroo in Rajpura area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Officials said a house built on a piece of encroached government land was razed to the ground at new colony , Rajpora, in Pulwama.
According to the MHA, Nengroo was “running a terror syndicate in Kashmir” and “orchestrating terror in Jammu and Kashmir” from Pakistan. It is believed that he was instrumental in helping JeM chief Moulana Masood Azhar’s nephew Idrees to infiltrate into J&K.
Nengroo’s brother Abbas Ahmed Nengroo was also a JeM terrorist and was killed in 2014. His second brother, Manzoor Ahmad Nengroo, was found dead in an orchard in September this year. According to the police, the fourth brother, Reyaz Nengroo, is at present lodged in a prison in terror attack case.
