Assistant Commissioner (Panchayat)placed under suspension for derogatory remarks over Hindu religion in Rajouri

A matter has been reported from district Rajouri wherein Assistant Commissioner -Panchayat, Abdul Rashid Kohli (JKAS)has been placed under suspension for hurting religious sentiments of Hindu community by DC Rajouri.
The complainant Sanjeet Sharma (Secretary Panchayat)in his complaint stated that he along with his four colleagues Zaheer Malik, Utish Ashok, Tahir Mirza and Abdul Rashid Kohli (AC -Panchayat)went to Blue star restaurant for having lunch. While placing the order for food, besides him all others ordered non-vegetarian whereas he ordered vegetarian since he doesn't eat non-veg. Upon seeing me ordering vegetarian food, Abdul Rashid Kohli enquired me that why aren't you having non-veg food like them, so he replied that he is a vegetarian and don't like non-veg.
After hearing his version of likings, Abdul Rashid started using derogatory remarks against Hinduism and said that as per Vedas, if you eat egg, you will become pure for one day, if you eat chicken, you will become pure for a week and if you eat beef, you will become pure for a month. He deliberately insulted Hinduism and Vedas despite knowing that Cow is worshipped in Hindu religion and no Hindu can tolerate such disgusting references.
Further in his complaint, Sanjeet has alleged that he objected to his words but he kept repeating that what ever he said is written in your Vedas and did you ever care to read them? However, during all this, the other colleagues kept mum and kept watching as mute spectators.
Abdul Rashid even went on to say to Sanjeet that if you go through your scriptures, you will convert to Islam. Sanjeet in his compliant has alleged that he objected to his seniors unbearable and unacceptable remarks as much as he could but he didn't stop abusing Hindus and Hindu religion. And when I strongly objected to his words, he threatened me of quashing.
Sanjeet has complained that how can an officer force somebody to eat of his choice and to convert to Islam. Do our services come under Islamic rule or Indian Constitution , he wrote in his compliant.
Further Sanjeet in his complaint has said that, it's a matter of grave concern that a person of opposite religion and culture can't work in Rajouri just because he is Hindu and doesn't eat non-veg and if complying to these things is an obligation here than i hereby resign from my job because no matter what i will stand by my religion and values and will never surrender to Islamists like him.
Sanjeet addressed his complaint to Deputy Commissioner Rajouri to take legal action against Abdul Rashid Kohli for hurting his religious sentiments. DC Rajouri after going through the complaint has placed AC- Panchayat under suspension for hurting religious sentiments, for violation of service rules and stated that his derogatory remarks against Hinduism has the potential of creating law and order problem. A committee headed by ADDC has been formed to enquire into the matter and it will submit a report in 15 days.
