NIA raids underway in Kashmir in a case related to targeted killing of minorities and security personnel

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been conducting raids across Kashmir valley in a case related to targeted killings of minorities and security personnel. Raids are underway in Anantnag, Pulwama and Shopian districts of South Kashmir. Raids are being conducted as part of probe agency’s investigation into terror funding.
As per the information, NIA is conducting raids in Wachi area of Shopian, Nehama and Litter area of Pulwama district and the Fresal area of Kulgam district and one team has reached Achawal area of Anantnag district where the raid is yet to start.
It is pertinent to mention here that on Monday also, NIA had conducted search operation in Srinagar in the ISIS Kerala Module case during which many digital devices have been seized by the sleuths. Raids were conducted at the house of Uzair Azhar Bhat in Srinagar’s Karfali Mohalla.
Bhat is allegedly one of the key common contacts between Deepti and Obaid who were running an ISIS module to radicalise youth.
