Another Pakistan based Hizbul terrorist commander’s property attached in Kashmir by NIA

Day after attaching the property of fugitive terrorist and Al Umar Mujahideen (AUM) chief Mushtaq Zargar aka Latram in Srinagar, National Investigation Agency (NIA) today morning attached the property of another Pakistan based Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Basit Ahmed Reshi in Sopore area of North Kashmir.'
 
A team of NIA officials alongwith J&K Police and CRPF carried out the attachment of property of terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen’s Commander.
 
 
Pertinently, Reshi who is currently based in Pakistan, was involved in several terror crimes including terror financing in Kashmir from across the border. He also planned and executed a terror attack on police guard post in Sopore on 18 August, 2015 in which one cop and a civilian were killed.
 
Reshi, a resident of Sopore of Baramulla district was declared a terrorist under the UAPA through a notification issued by the Centre in October 2022.
