Grenade Attack on Army Post in J&K’s Poonch, No Casualties Reported

Terrorists targeted an Army post in Surankote area of J&K’s Poonch district early Wednesday by hurling two grenades, officials reported.

 

Out of the two grenades, only one exploded, causing no injuries or damage. The other grenade failed to detonate and was safely defused by security experts during a search operation launched shortly after the incident.

 

A massive search operation has been launched in the area to track down the terrorists, who fled after the attack, the officials said.
