Four Soldiers Martyred as Army Vehicle Falls Into Gorge in J&K’s Bandipora

In a tragic incident, an Indian Army vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near Wular viewpoint area of J&K’s Bandipora district, resulting into the death of Four soldiers and leaving others critically injured.

 

 

Local authorities and rescue teams immediately rushed to the site. The injured soldiers were shifted to the district hospital in Bandipora, where three succumbed to their injuries. The critically injured have been transported to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

 

 

While the exact cause of the mishap is yet to be ascertained, initial reports suggest slippery road conditions might have contributed to the accident.
