NC sweeps three of four Rajya Sabha Seats; BJP’s Sat Sharma wins one

Senior JKNC leader Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan has been elected to the Rajya Sabha from Jammu and Kashmir after winning by 58 votes. The National Conference (NC) announced that its leaders Sajad Kichloo and Shammi Oberoi also secured two other seats in the Upper House.

 

 

 

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) managed to win one seat, with Sat Sharma being elected after receiving 32 votes.

 

 

 

With this, the NC has claimed three out of four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir, while the BJP has taken one.
